Job Description
-
Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items

Throughout shift maintain proper cleanliness of restaurant and properly prep before shift

Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness

Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order

Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy, and delivers it to guests

Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service

Communicate with kitchen staff, bartenders, hostess, and fellow servers when problems arise and seek the help of the manager on duty

Update availability in a timely manner and be held responsible for scheduled shifts

Be flexible and willing to work where needed in the restaurant depending on business
Requirements

Ability to effectively communicate

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to move trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds

Ability to travel up and down stairs multiple times a day

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

No experience necessary, will train the right people!
